Facebook confirms test of easier-to-find 'delete account' option (Ben Patterson)

Ben Patterson - Deleting your Facebook account is a lot harder than it sounds, requiring users to navigate a thicket of menus to submit a request to zap their profiles. Now comes word that Facebook is testing a "delete account" link that would be far easier to find, if not easier to execute.
